A story with a future
In autumn 2003, GEMOTEG GmbH was founded in Hechingen. Due to his many years of expertise in the field of gears and motors, the founder Stefan Eggenweiler recognized that there was a great need for high-quality gears and electric motors in Germany. Stefan Eggenweiler and his wife Regina started selling series and standard products.
he courageous decision to become self-employed was rewarded: GEMOTEG GmbH was able to win customers from industry very quickly.
GEMOTEG has grown over the years and has expanded its service and product portfolio: The company has large storage capacities (approx. 1300m²) and a product range that includes worm gears, spur gears, parallel shaft gears, geared motors, electric motors and frequency converters as well as complete control systems. All products are converted and adapted in our own assembly department at the customer’s request. The company now employs around 30 people and is a reliable partner for numerous industrial sectors such as mechanical and plant engineering, the food industry, the chemical industry and packaging and process engineering.
GEMOTEG Today
So that he can start his well-deserved retirement, the founder Stefan Eggenweiler handed over the company to the former sales manager Jörg Alber and the ERIKS Group in 2022, which is an industrial service provider for products and services in the areas of maintenance and original equipment, and thus a major expansion for the GEMOTEG product range.
In order to continue not only the management of the company, but also its core task – the sale of geared motors, electric motors, frequency converters and controls, the experienced sales manager Jörg Alber takes over the site management at GEMOTEG GmbH.
